Surgery Partners, Inc. and Baylor Scott & White Health have announced a joint venture to jointly own and operate The Physicians Centre Hospital in Bryan, Texas. This 16‑bed facility will now operate under the Baylor Scott & White name, integrating its surgical and specialty services with one of the region’s largest health systems.

For national accounts executives, this move signals a strategic consolidation in the Texas healthcare market. The hospital’s broad service mix—including orthopedic, bariatric, ophthalmologic, gastroenterological, urologic, plastic, reconstructive, and pain management services—will now benefit from Baylor Scott & White’s operational scale and continuum of care. Patients will continue to receive care from their existing providers, minimizing disruption while improving access and coordination.

The joint venture also reflects Baylor Scott & White’s commitment to meeting growing community health needs in the Brazos Valley region.
