New Jersey’s largest health system enters global partnership
06 Feb, 2025

Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) and Apollo Hospitals have formed a strategic collaboration aimed at improving healthcare delivery across continents. This partnership links HMH's U.S.-based expertise with Apollo’s extensive healthcare network in India and other countries.

The collaboration addresses the global healthcare workforce shortage, with initiatives like enhancing educational programs for healthcare professionals. They aim to provide education and training to nurses, medical professionals, and other healthcare staff.

One of the focal areas of their partnership is in oncology. Both organizations are combining their strengths to enhance cancer care, aiming for better treatment options and improving the overall healthcare system's ability to manage cancer patients effectively.

The partnership also aims to harness telemedicine and digital health technologies to improve healthcare access. Virtual health solutions are being developed to assist in delivering better care, especially in underserved regions and communities.

The partnership is particularly focused on serving the South Asian community in the U.S., especially in New Jersey, by creating healthcare solutions that are culturally sensitive and tailored to the needs of this demographic. The goal is to bridge cultural gaps in healthcare services.
