AdventHealth Tampa recently broke ground on a large-scale expansion project that includes a five-story, 100,000-square-foot medical office building and a seven-story parking garage offering over 1,100 new parking spaces on its campus. 

The new medical office building will feature a state-of-the-art Cancer Center, expanded clinical care offerings, and advanced specialty imaging services designed to support surgical planning and holistic (“whole-person”) care. It will also bolster graduate medical education programs in areas such as Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, and General Surgery. 

Construction is expected to conclude with the parking garage completed by summer 2026 and the medical office building opening in fall 2026. The project reflects the hospital’s commitment to improving access to high-quality care and supporting the growing needs of the community, emphasized by both AdventHealth leadership and local officials at the groundbreaking
