
CHRISTUS Health broke ground this month on a new, state-of-the-art health care facility in Mount Pleasant, expanding compassionate and exceptional care to the area.
The 33,500 square-foot health care center will feature a 15-bed emergency department, advanced imaging, and an onsite laboratory.
Services Offered: It will include clinic space for primary care, outpatient physical therapy, cardiology, and visiting specialists.
Employment and Impact: The facility will employ 50 full-time staff, enhancing access to health care in rural East Texas.
Completion Date: The facility is set to open in winter 2025, further expanding CHRISTUS Health’s presence in East Texas.
With representatives from CHRISTUS, the city of Mount Pleasant and Titus County in attendance, CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System President Jason Proctor emphasized the need for high-quality care in rural East Texas and the expansion of CHRISTUS’ footprint in the area.
“We have thousands of patients that choose CHRISTUS Health from Mount Pleasant and Titus County every year for their health care needs,” Proctor said. “This project will allow those patients and more in the future to access our emergency services and Trinity Clinic providers faster and easier.”
