Baptist Health and Compass Surgical Partners have teamed up with local physicians to take ownership of the Middleburg Surgery Center, a multispecialty ambulatory surgery center near Baptist Medical Center Clay. This partnership marks a significant step in expanding outpatient surgical care across Northeast Florida.

The center, now licensed and accredited, offers same-day procedures in orthopedics, urology, ENT, pain management, and general surgery, delivering high-quality care in a convenient, lower-cost setting. With 15 physician partners on board, the collaboration aims to increase access, enhance efficiency, and improve the patient experience.

Leaders say this initiative reflects a broader strategy to grow a comprehensive surgical network in the region, benefiting both patients and providers alike.
