AdventHealth announced it is expanding its footprint in North Carolina with the acquisition of GenesisCare’s radiation oncology locations and Asheville Urological Associates, adding 11 clinics to its network.
The organization said the move strengthens access to cancer and urology services across the state, particularly in Western North Carolina, where local oncology care has declined in recent years.
With the transition, patients will gain access to AdventHealth’s cancer support features—such as Oncology Nurse Navigators, and accreditation from recognized bodies like the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) and the Commission on Cancer (CoC).
Also, existing technological assets (e.g. linear accelerators) are already integrated into AdventHealth’s outpatient network, which helps ensure a smoother operational and service transition.
